Foods allowed for gastritis

Gastritis is a disease of the century that can be diagnosed in 2/3 of the world's population. The disease is often asymptomatic but prone to progression. Chronic gastritis can eventually develop into a peptic ulcer or even stomach cancer. Clinical nutrition is not the only, but an important part of the prevention and treatment of gastrointestinal diseases. Which diet is recommended for gastritis: what can and what should gastroenterologists not use?

Nutritional principles

The organization of a proper diet for gastritis implies a complete revision of the diet, the exclusion of foods that irritate the gastric mucosa. Steamed and cooked dishes are preferred. With any type of gastritis, it is forbidden to eat fried and fatty foods.

Food for gastritis is organized taking into account the rules:

  • optimal temperature for food is 20-50 °;
  • meals are taken at the same time, 5-6 times a day;
  • avoid overeating;
  • consider comorbidities when choosing a diet for gastritis;
  • exclude alcohol, smoking;
  • give up smoked, sour, spicy foods;
  • dine 2-3 hours before bed;
  • chew food thoroughly;
  • refrain from nibbling on the run;
  • you can drink 30 minutes after a meal;
  • boil food well.

This method has a beneficial effect on the regeneration of the mucous membrane. The menu of gastritis of the stomach should be varied, contain a sufficient amount of vitamins and minerals. The patient should not starve to death.

Food for gastritis

Therapeutic diet for patients with gastritis necessarily includes food and surrounding components that repair damaged mucous membranes. Foods should contain a lot of B vitamins. These elements are usually not enough in diseases of the gastrointestinal tract. Use healthy foods for all forms of chronic gastritis:

  • Oatmeal - a source of fiber, antioxidants;
  • Vegetable oils - contain fatty acids, tocopherol;
  • Milk (if well tolerated);
  • Dairy products - normalize bowel function due to the high content of bacteria responsible for strong immunity;
  • Ripe bananas - stimulate the production of protective mucus, are rich in B vitamins, magnesium;
  • Berries - better absorbed than fruit, with increased secretion acid-free varieties are released;
  • Rice - has absorbent properties;
  • Potatoes - helps improve metabolism, raw vegetable juice is used for medicinal purposes.

The right way to drink helps alleviate worsening and discomfort. The liquid improves the motility of the gastrointestinal tract, dilutes the excess stomach acid. The amount of clean water without gases in the daily diet should be at least 1, 5 liters.
